Gabrielle O'Shannessy , BA (Music)
Professionally involved in the music industry since 1990, Gabrielle has a wealth of experience as an agent and performer. As vocalist and songwriter with well-known North Coast band Hudibrastic Funk she has a well-rounded understanding and broad knowledge of the music industry, copyright and of the recording process. An inspiring teacher, she teaches Aural and Rhythm training, Music Theory, and Music Business in both Certificate and Diploma programmes. Having studied jazz in New York during several periods since 1995 Gabrielle is committed to music education and believes in providing inspiring musical experiences for students. She pioneered the development of the North Coast Jazz Festival and has been its director since 2005. |

HEAD OF DANCE
Michael Hennessy
Head of Dance, Michael Hennessy holds a Bachelor of Social Science (major Physical Education) and is a graduate from The Victorian College of The Arts. He is a former member of the Sydney Dance Company and performed with them both nationally and internationally for nine years. As a freelance artist Michael has choreographed and produced his own works and has worked in the TV and music industry. He has taught at the University of Western Sydney , Nepean and NAISDA. In 1993 he established the dance course at the NRCAC, and remains committed to regional Dance Development. |
